Speaking of groove fittings, I believe everyone is very familiar with them. They are the main accessories used for pipeline connections nowadays, with the characteristics of being fast, corrosion-resistant, and having a long service life. 1. When steel pipes are used in the pipeline network, their materials should comply with the requirements of the current national standards GB/T 8163 for seamless steel pipes for fluid transportation and GB/T 3091 for welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation. When using copper pipes, stainless steel pipes, and other pipes, they should comply with the requirements of the corresponding technical standards.
2. The installation of hot-dip galvanized steel pipes should use threaded, grooved fittings or flange connections. The cross-sectional area of the water flow should not be reduced after the pipeline is connected.
3. Before installing the pipeline network, the pipeline should be straightened and any debris inside the pipeline should be removed; Before installation in corrosive locations, pipes, fittings, etc. should be treated with anti-corrosion according to design requirements; During installation, debris inside the pipeline should be removed at all times.
When connecting grooved pipe fittings, the grooves and openings of the pipeline connection should be processed using specialized grooving machines and drilling machines, and anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out; Before connection, the dimensions of the grooves and holes should be checked, and the processing quality should meet the technical requirements; There should be no burrs, damaging cracks, or dirt at the grooves and holes.
